How blocking looks in first person

If damage is dealt in the green part while blocking the shield will take the damage, if in the red, damage will not be blocked

Arrows will stick to the shield, the amount is configurable

If anything is equipped other than the sword or empty fist, the shield will appear on your back, and arrows will stick too

Crafting recipes for wood shield and hide shield, textures are different

Crafting recipes for diamond,iron, and gold shield, keep in mind textures are different

After crafting the shields, press the “tab” key by default to bring up the gui. Drag the shield into the slot. Block by right-clicking. You can shield bash by left-clicking while blocking and getting hit.

Shield Stats

• Wood Shield
  • 2 second block
  • Destroyed after absorption of 40 damage
• Hide Shield
  • 5 second block
  • Destroyed after absorption of 80 damage
• Iron Shield
  • 10 second block
  • Destroyed after absorption of 240 damage
• Diamond Shield
  • 15 second block
  • Destroyed after absorption of 528 damage
• Gold Shield
  • 15 second block (I think I will dramatically increase this)
  • Destroyed after absorption of 112 damage
